I loved this movie! Just don’t watch it hungry LOL ; )
Julia Child is my hero!!
I have not seen this yet! To win would be great!
Betty, my kids asked me why I liked this movie… I said it combined three things I liked: cooking, blogging and storytelling.
I have good memories of watching Julia Child on PBS with my mom, growing up.
I LOVE THIS MOVIE!! The story! the Characters! Julia Child …need I say more! Julie is an average girl, who in my book, becomes a hero! Both Meryl Streep and Amy Adams are tremendous in this movie.
Love, love, loved the movie. First time in a LONG time I’ve felt the skyrocketing movie price was worth it! And the soup is fab, too!
I watched the original Julia Child when I was growing up. It’s probably why I love to cook so much, but it didn’t turn me into a wine drinker…
Betty, I have not seen this movie yet, but I did see the previews. I hope I win so I can tell everyone where I won :-)
Hey Hey Hey!!! There’s Betty in a new movie!!!! Oh wait, your not in this movie!!!!! YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN!!!! Amy Addams needs to work with you sometime in an episode of Average Betty! LOVE YOU!!!!

I’d love to win this movie – and I’m glad I’ve discovered your blog!
I really loved this movie. Very well done. I wish I owned it.
Crosses fingers. Loved the movie. Thanks!
This is perfect cuz I’ve yet to see the movie! GREG
Hi Betty,
I love the fact that they made a movie about Julia. She has been my hero for some time. Growing up I would watch her on PBS and marvel at the things she did. She was the first reality cooking show. When I was 20 I dressed up as Julia and my friends videotaped me doing a bad impression of her voice and we cooked chicken. ( there may have been alcohol involved).
Based on average weight and height, how many JC recipes do you have to follow before you are too inebriated to drive?
Average Betty rocks! & i wanna win this flick!
I love this movie! I want the DVD!
Woohoo!!
An excellent movie with a worthy-delicious prize!
Cheers!
Gera

soup looks delish! i heard you can make the famous boeuf bourg. in a pressure cooker in a fraction of the time…
I haven’t seen the movie yet either. I’ve wanted to!
Ooh! Pick me, I haven’t seen it yet.
I’m planning to have a Julie/Julia party at my house. I’m going to pick out a line of things we haven’t made yet, we’ll cook them, then watch the movie. Brilliant, right?
What a great contest! Also, good luck on the tasty blog contest. :)
I wanted to see this in the theater but never was able to. I just imagine how wonderful this movie is.
I haven’t seen this movie yet so I’d love to have a copy! Just from the promos, Meryl Streep looks amazing as Julia.
Fun giveaway!
I haven’t gotten to see this movie yet, so would love a dvd! Thanks for a chance at the giveaway. Congratulations on your Tasty Awards nominations!
Love your recipes…YOU ROCK!!!
Saw the movie; loved it. Would love to see it again, at home. :)
I so want to win this video! I just finished reading the book and loved it. I cried bitterly at the end.
My youngest daughter dreams of being a chef when she grows up, so I read her Julie and Julie aloud, but edited out the profanity while reading. SHE LOVED IT. She’s been begging me to go to the movie. Winning the video would be simply terrific for both of us.
Thanks for having this awesome contest!
Best,
Shawna
This movie was delicious! I’ve vowed to make Julia’s boeuf bourguignon this winter because of it! It would be great to have the movie playing in the background while I “whip up” the recipe in the kitchen! :-)
I loved the Julia part of the movie — that’s why DVD is perfect!
It broke my heart that I missed seeing Julie and Julia in the the theaters, so I hope I get a second chance!
I had previewed that movie (technical preview) for the local theater and thought it was great. I love tasty foods… that’s why I love your site, cooking shows (Yes… I remember watching Julia on the TV as well) and EATING. Its a wonder that I don’t weigh a TON! All the best on the contest…
I loved the movie. I would love to own a copy!
Officially one of my favorite movies!
I’d love to see this and I know my mom and sister would too.
